Recently I received request to update the password for my "My.Yahoo" account ... I'm now unable to access ... after reaffirming my email address and password, I'm unable to access the account ... I then established a new account and password ... again, I'm unable to establish use of the My.Yahoo account ... any recommendations for resolution ...

Sounds like it was a scam to get your password and your account has been hacked.
