Unless you were expecting an email like that, you'd better not reply to it..! That was nothing other than an attempt to garner information from you.. send it to your mail's security team...
Reply:I can tell you that this is nothing more then an attempt at social engineering to get your personal data from you to either get money or to commit identity fraud. First off, the Marriot would never cold call for employees with a gmail account. Secondly, Immigration Canada does not use yahoo or post.com





They are asking for your personal data like passport numbers and other personal data which would not be required for a job application in Canada. If you have already provided any of this info then I would be worried about fraud in your name later on. If you have not provided it yet then just disregard the email as a hoax and an attempt at ID theft.

They are asking for enough identity information from you to commit identity fraud.





If you accept a job in another country you will courier your passport to that company so the can sponsor and obtain a work visa for you. This is how its done, so when in doubt, phone and ask them





Its as simple as looking the hotel up on the internet and emailing them or phoning them if you really want to know.
Reply:Here's a tip, emails that end with public free providers that suppose to the emails of legitimate business are probably fake. Example, @yahoo,@hotmail, @gmail... a big company and the government of Canada would have their own email service provider.
Reply:This is a very dangerous scam. Since you have received the '3rd email' it appears that you must have given out all of this important personal information -- and that is dangerous!





Since they are asking for passport information, it appears that they are seeking to make fake passports. Congratulations --- you've just had your identity stolen!
